Adam Cheng complains about the intense kiss scene with Maggie Siu

Adam Cheng, Moses Chan, Maggie Siu and Aimee Chan attended TVB new series Master of Play's promotional event. At the event, a clip of Adam and Maggie's kiss scene was shown. Regarding this, Adam frankly expressed he was a little resistant to the kiss scene, but still performed the duties of an actor and also told his wife about the scene. Adam said: "I already said before I can't do it. I don't like it [because] it's not too good when you have a wife. However, the producer was very serious, so I lived up to my responsibilities as an actor."

Adam expressed that kiss scene was more intense than anything in the past, so he's worried viewers won't accept it. He laughed: "It is totally French style. We are lovers, so we do what couples do. All along, I had been resistant to shoot the kiss scene, and still feel a little disturbed now. (Worried your wife might feel disturbed?) Nope, I actually don't really do those kind of scenes, my wife is quite open, she knows that I'm just acting!" Adam expressed there were no NGs when shooting that scene and was completed very fast. He said Maggie was really professional, and quickly brought him into character.

Maggie laughed and said she wanted to kiss Adam for a long time now, she joked: "My acting doesn't compare to him! My lines aren't as great as his lines, so I can only rely on that kind of communication. (Felt good?) He's very good, experienced and quickly brought me into character. We both did it comfortably. (Do you have to tell your boyfriend about it?) Not necessary, after all it's just work. If there is dislike, next time we can just fake the kiss with camera angles! In fact, it's quite awkward for me too, no matter how familiar I am with the person."

When speaking of an actual couple shooting kiss scenes would be less awkward? Maggie frankly expressed it would be just as awkward. She said she talked to Aimee Chan about this before and she wasn't too receptive of the idea either because viewers won't believe it when reality is put into the acting. The best is to keep work and personal lives separate.

Yesterday at the promotion, the couple Moses and Aimee kept their distance and often grabbed Adam to stand in between them. Later, after several times of inviting the couple to take a photo together, they finally awkwardly took one.

Also, in regards to the 23 year old female artist's sexual assault case, Maggie directly expressed often times the man won't admit it. However, as of now the whole story is just one sided and there isn't any evidence. When Aimee was asked about the case, she expressed she heard the other staff mentioned it and expressed she's usually busy with work, so she rarely goes out late. Aimee said she likes to drink champagne more, but only likes to enjoy it at home. When asked if Moses would protect her? She said she will get a good friend to go out with her. Since childhood, Aimee has been taking Kung Fu lessons for self-defense and knows how to box, so she can protect herself.
