Linda Chung: Don't Scold TVB for Everything

Yesterday Linda Chung, Ruco Chan, Natalie Tong, Samantha Ko and Raymond Wong attended the blessing ceremony for TVB new series The Great Pharmacist. In regards to losing the "TV Queen in Artists' Heart" title at the TVB Anniversary to Kristal Tin. Linda expressed she's happy for her and was already pleased to be part of the top two. It was reported she extended her TVB contract for another 8 years since she had no hope for the TV Queen this year? Linda explained: "I didn't sign another contract. In the past 4 years, it had been reported that I extended my contract for another 8 years. So, does that mean my contract now is 32 years long? There is less than 5 years left in my TVB contract, but that is enough time for me to improve and get the TV Queen title." Lately, Linda's fans had been scolding her TV Queen opponent Tavia Yeung on Weibo? Linda expressed: "I don't believe that. My fans are all very well behaved. If they really did do that, I will talk to them."

Linda and rumored boyfriend Ruco Chan play a couple once again in this new series. She expressed because of Brother's Keeper, she's more familiar with Ruco now and they work very well together. Ruco was also very willing to be Linda's driver. He joked: "I'm just afraid she dares not to ride with me." Linda joked back: "I don't have the courage to, I have doubts on his driving skills."

When speaking of the TVB Anniversary ratings, averaging at 29 points and peaked at 31 points, Linda was most pleased with TVB's HK$3.1 million donations to charity. Asked whether Linda thought Nat Chan's comments affected the ratings? She said: "I hope everyone doesn't keep scolding TVB for everything. I don't think Nat Chan caused an impact on the ratings. The noise can actually pull up the ratings. With current advanced technologies, many people are watching on MyTV." Ruco expressed he's not satisfied with the rating: "I'm not satisfied with how much TVB donated, they should donate more!" The TVB anniversary rating for this year set a new record for lowest rating. Samantha expressed her support: "Its already good. We really put in a lot of effort into the performances. Actually Nat's comments helped TVB." Natalie Tong said: "The noise from the public probably affected the rating, but I hope everyone could be more rational. Don't put all your dissatisfaction on us. We tried our best to entertain everyone."

Linda Chung New Love Interest? "He Went Down to Pick Me Up"

Yesterday Linda Chung, Ruco Chan, Raymond Wong, Shirley Yeung and Natalie Tong attended the costume fitting of TVB new series The Great Pharmacist (tentative). AfterBrother's Keeper Linda and Ruco were rumored, and now that their portraying a couple again in this series, they appeared awkward. Linda explained: "Ruco and I chatted in the makeup room. (Has he started pursuing you?) You all ask him! After all, I hope we'll have a great collaboration."

All along, Linda Chung had claimed "work is my priority", but last night [Good News] spotted Linda with a 6-feet tall gentleman entering a factory building. Yesterday at the costume fititng of her new series, she was asked whether this 6-feet gentleman is her new love interest? Linda didn't want to disclose who that gentleman was. She exclaimed: "I'm so scared! I'm scared of a ghost!" Reporters gave the [Good News] headline to her, Linda laughed: "How is he 6 feet?" She explained that gentleman is costume designer, that day they were going into the building for costume tryout, but she did notice there were reporters following them. She hoped to have some privacy as she gets into the car, so she asked the costume designer to pick her up.

Ruco expressed he does not feel awkward seeing Linda. Asked if he's worried he won't be able to pull himself out of character? He said: "This is different from Brother's Keeper, my role's background is very realistic, so don't need to get so into character. (Are you pursuing Linda?) Nope! We've been filming together for several months and we know very well there's no romantic feelings." This time, Ruco and Linda are a couple again, but will be involved in a love square with Raymond Wong and Natalie Tong. Because the plot is refreshing, Ruco is not afraid the audience might get bored of watching him and Linda as a couple again.

It was said Linda's role is a copy of popular Korean drama Jewels in the Palace? Linda said: "There is only a slight similarity in my role's personality, she's good-hearted, has perseverance and a never giving up spirit. My role is a Chinese pharmacist, the most challenging part is remembering all the Chinese medicine names."

It was reported TVB intends to promote Linda to become their new music label "Star Dreams" Big Sister, but the only condition is to stop all the rumors. Linda said: "I didn't hear about that rumor. Its definitely made up. I've worked with Herman Ho for so long, he treats everyone equally. I believe he'll bring this spirit to TVB."

Shirley Yeung Finally "Unfrozen"

Shirley had been frozen for 4 years. This time, she's finally unfrozen and participates in this series as a mistress. She said: "Its been 4 years since I've been in a series, I feel pleased and excited. I've always liked filming series." Asked if she'll have any bold scenes? Shirley said: "I'm not sure, but I'm not afraid of those scenes. If I'm afraid of everything, then there won't be anything to do. Also with the limitations on TV, nothing to worry about."

Shirley disclosed her daughter doesn't have much hair, so she had a hairstylist shave all her daughter's hair off in hope she'll grow new hair. Asked whether Shirley is worried she won't have time to spend with her daughter? She said: "My mother is helping out, I'm not worried at all. I will balance my time."

In this new series, Priscilla and rumored boyfriend Tony Hung are paired up. Asked if they will have any kiss scenes? She laughed: "I get the cold chills just thinking about it. Charmaine Sheh a 'rich lady', does not dare to admit good at investments

Yesterday Charmaine Sheh, Moses Chan, Wayne Lai, Linda Chung, Raymond Wong and Leila Tong attended The Next Magazine's Healthy Star Awards 2012. In a recent interview, Charmaine talked about her investment on homes and getting rich off of RMB (Chinese currency), making her a 'young rich lady' in the industry. Yesterday she modestly said: "I didn't make that much, otherwise I wouldn't have to work. I'm still working hard and really like acting. Actually, I'm not considered that good in investment, still learning and discussing with the consultant at the bank." When asked whether she'll retire if she makes a profit on another house? She said: "Didn't think about that. I currently just have one home because I'm always flying around. I don't dare to buy stocks, I can't keep up with the stock market's ups and downs. When I'm working, I won't be able to answer the broker's calls, so my only long-term investment is to buy homes, that is the most stable."

Charmaine thinks the current Chief Executive CY Leung's (Leung Chun Ying) policy is "average for now", the housing prices haven't gone down, "Actually I feel a little contradictory. When the market is doing well, the housing prices won't go down, but then I don't want the Hong Kong market to be bad. I just want the government to implement some policies to crackdown on the property speculation, to help us investors."

Yesterday Charmaine went to cast her vote because this year she really wants to express her strong opinions. When asked if she voted against the National's Education system? Charmaine said: "I think National's Education needs to be publicly announced to the teachers and students before we discuss over it. The government should also accept the citizens' views. This is a society of democracy, there should be this right. We should all just sit down and talk it over."

TVB new series The Last Steep of Ascent is airing soon, but lead actress Maggie Cheung has already left the company, Moses Chan expressed he's not worried he'll have to take up the heavy responsibility of promoting the series himself. He also does not mind if the attention is focused on him and his girlfriend Aimee Chan. "We have a different relationship line in the series, so there is no need to confuse our personal life with work."

Wayne Lai defends Sheren Tang

It was rumored TVB plans to start shooting Rosy Business 3 (RB3), Wayne Lai continues to be the male lead, but because Sheren Tang was demanding for too much, she was kicked out by TVB executives. She gets replaced by Myolie Wu as the female lead. Later, Sheren denied the rumor on Weibo. Yesterday Wayne strongly supported his good partner Sheren: "There are a lot of speculations on the internet, some people said Sheren won't be shooting RB3 and that someone else is going to shoot it instead. Some people no longer want the series to be called RB3. Actually whether if its going to be filmed, its not significant if there's Sheren or not and it is not necessary to care whether the series title is RB3 or not. What's most important is there will still be drama. Some people say Sheren was demanding too much on the contract, but I think its pointless to try and hurt her, it's very unfair to her. If she doesn't shoot the series, there could be thousands of reasons, and TVB may even drop me as well and still use the RB3 title."

Wayne expressed earlier Netizens redo the Forensic Heroes III pairings, he said: "I hope everyone stops talking about this. Sheren and I are good partners. If I shoot the series, and she doesn't, but make awkwardness for us, that wouldn't be good." He expressed many times the series titles are tentative, it's not a big deal if the name RB3 isn't used. He hopes people could just stop and leave Sheren alone.

Ruco Chan makes it clear, its impossible to date Selena Li

Selena Li, Ruco Chan and Lee Yee Man had their end-of-filming celebration in Cheung Chau for the new TVB series Love Exceeds the Coastline they collaborated on. TVB executive deputy chairman, Dr. Norman Leung, made a special trip to visit them. Norman also hosted an eight table banquet at a hotel treating the cast and crew seafood and celebrated Ram Chiang and Cilla Lok's birthdays. The local residents were welcomed into the banquet as well.

Selena, Ruco and Lee Yee Man were rumored in a love triangle after shooting series, but Selena admitted to defeat. She said the rumor started because she randomly sat in Ruco's seat, but then she praised Ruco that he's clever and professional. On the other hand, Ruco was rather embarrassed and made it clear that it is impossible for him to develop a relationship with Selena or Lee Yee Man. He said: "It's me that is not good, I believe they can find better boyfriends."

Norman expressed he paid for the banquet all because of Selena's one comment. He said: "I made a special trip back to HK from Mainland. I've lived in Cheung Chau for 18 years, aside from this place being my ancestral hometown, Cheung Chau is my second home and gives me a good feeling. Earlier I heard Selena say she's shooting Cheung Chau, but never tried the fish balls and seafood here, so I volunteered to host this feast." Selena blushed when her colleagues all thanked her for the seafood feast, and felt the real person they should thank was Dr. Norman Leung.

Aimee Chan Surprises with Volleyball Skills

Yesterday, Aimee Chan, Selena Li, Ruco Chan, Raymond Wong, and Cilla Kung filmed a beach volleyball match for TVB's series "Love Exceeds the Coastline" in Tuen Mun. Aimee, who was in beachwear, was showing off her thin waist and long legs. She was actually a volleyball team representative in school who also has great ball skills...competing with other cast members. Her spike caused Cilla, who was on the opposite team, to not be able to avoid in time...screaming after getting hit in the face with the ball. Afterward, she laughingly said, "I'm okay...nose did not come off".

Cilla was revealed to have the worst ball skills, even the director revealed that, when filming a serve, it didn't even go over the net after hitting the ball 200 times. On the other hand, Selena was the most accurate. Raymond couldn't help but add, "The crew specially prepared a trampoline for Cilla to help her film the volleyball jumping action". Cilla did not mind being the laughing stock, and she also took a picture with the trampoline upon request. Selena and Aimee expressed that, when they were studying in Toronto, they were on the volleyball team...very happy to play ball together when filming.

Selena Li too many rumors, friends afraid to get near her

The rating report for TVB series Gloves Come Off peaked at 33 points. Yesterday the cast and crew celebrated the success. Sin Ho Ying and Lee Ka Ding (Ding Yeh), who were rumored on bad terms with Kevin Cheng, were absent. Producer Law Wing Yin explained Master Sin was unable to attend due to work, and insisted the cast and crew all collaborated pleasantly. Kevin expressed there won't be any awkwardness if he and Master Sin see each other. In fact, Kevin expressed he hopes to see Master Sin and personally make an apology to him. "The producer helped me pass the message to him, and when Master Sin was on an interview, he never criticized my comments."

Kevin was very pleased to have gained more male fans and be able to promote the Muay Thai sport through Gloves Come Off. Kevin also gives advance notice that as more episodes air, he will be revealing more of his muscles. Asked if he hopes for a sequel? Kevin stressed: "If there is a sequel, must not be as rushed as this time. At least have 3 months to really prepare and train the body. From 2010 until now, I have filmed 8 series. My current filming schedule goes until July and then I will start working on my music album. In August, I will be start filming again and will only have a month to record songs. Whenever I have time, I will have to vigorously watch series, watch movies and listen to music. I cannot have 'entry, but no exit'. I must absorb new things." Asked if his income exceeded several 10 millions from shooting 8 series within 2 years? Kevin said: "Cannot calculate like that, TVB got some of the share."

It was rumored Selena Li is involved in Mona Ch'ng and horse trainer Tony Cruz's son (Sean Cruz) relationship. Lately, since she's always photographed going out with a man, Selena claimed she's getting others in trouble: "Friends don't dare to come near me! (Rumored you are only interested in wealthy men?) Of course not! Since I broke up with Patrick [Tang], I dated once before and he wasn't wealthy. Many of my friends are wealthy, but I also have not so well-off friends too. I haven't dated a wealthy man before because I feel there is a generation gap. Perhaps they are too wealthy and won't be able to see the value in me or know how to cherish me. I do have a pursuer, but I haven't found the my dream 'Sap Yat Gor' (Kevin's role) yet." When asked if Kevin meets her standards for a partner? She shook her head: "He's too popular in Mainland, I don't match him."

For this Mother's Day, Raymond Wong had to work, so he celebrated early with his mother, mother-in-law, god-mother and his wife. He plans to help his son write a Mother's Day card for his wife. Raymond reveals he got a tan from shooting his latest series Love Exceeds the Coastline in Cheung Chau.

Raymond Wong, Kenny Wong, Nancy Wu, Natalie Tong, Selena Li and the rest of the cast to TVB new series Gloves Come Off attended the promotional event, where a boxing trainer taught the skills of Chinese boxing. Among the actresses Nancy, who plays a mute boxer in the series, performed the best. During the interview, she expressed she has interest in boxing, but won't consider participating in a competition.

Nancy was asked if the popular reality show Bride Wannabe has a celebrity version, will she be willing to participate? She immediately did 'tai chi' with her hands and shook her head: "I don't think I'm a 'sing lui', I won't listen to what the advisor recommends. I won't comment on the advisors, but the program is quite entertaining and is a good experience for the participants. However, I think girls shouldn't let the 'sing lui' label affect them. The most important is to live happily."

As for Natalie Tong, she usually appears pretty weak, but did pretty well on the boxing practice. She admits she was influenced by ex-boyfriend Amigo Chui and had often went boxing in the past. In regards to Amigo fined by the court because he didn't attend his driving improvement course and he has also decided not to drive again? Natalie expressed as a friend, she is willing to be the driver if they were to go out to eat. She said: "It's a good thing that he temporarily stops driving. It's not a problem if he starts driving again in the future."
